With over 15 years experience of working with professional players, the Winning Ways Pro International staff has been honored in assisting with the placement of numerous players from all types of programs in countries and leagues around the world. Where we have created a strong niche is in the fact that we do not directly represent any player that attends one of our combines or camps.
As you certainly can appreciate, many international teams simply cannot attend every event, either out of economic constraints or time issues. As a result WWPI has a very strong record of helping players find opportunities with teams that do not even attend our combines. The scouting reports we produce are not only comprehensive, but not influenced by our financial stake in any player’s future. Therefore, if we say a player is 6’11, they are not 6’9 or 6’7. Teams have come to know and appreciate this honesty and lack of bias.
Of the many names you will see on our website of past players and where they have gone on to play professionally, the overwhelming majority were signed by teams that were not physically at a combine. So, if a camp claims 15-20 scouts are in attendance, and those teams are only looking for a post player, you can be the best point guard at the camp, but the teams there will not be able to help you. This is how WWPI is different. We do not make ridiculous claims about how many scouts are attending, but we make verifiable, concrete statements about the number of players who get jobs once the combine or camp is complete. After all, that is what players really need.
