Ball Skills: Solid ball handling ability. Continue to work on handling the ball in pressure situations and trapping situations.
Offense: Possesses a good outside stroke but must work on shot selection. Do not force shot. Move very well without the ball in creating space for him and his teammates.
Rebounding: Average rebounder for his height and position.
Defense: Good on the ball defender. Uses lateral quickness to stay with his man and keep him in front of him.
Game Knowledge: Overall, possesses good knowledge of the game. However, must continue to learn the style of play and rules for international basketball.
Strengths: Movement without the ball, shot mechanics, on the ball defense.
Opportunities for Improvement: Shot selection, court judgment.
Overall Comments: DJ is a solid overall player. However, he never really separated himself from the other guards at the camp. He has very good shot mechanics, but he needs to use better judgment in his shot selection.
