Winning Ways Pro International Testing Package
This battery of tests is given to each athlete at the beginning and at the conclusion of their training program. The results listed below are actual results and where noted number expected, indicates the professional player at a comparable position and size.
- Footspeed: defensive slants from foul lane to foul lane in a 30 second time period.
- Takes/Makes: elbow to elbow jump shots, demonstrating quickness of release and accuracy. Drill is 60sec.
- Chair Drill: a full court drill where player has maximum of 4 dribble from foul line to basket, laying the ball up and exploding back to 1 of 4 perimeter spots for outside shots. Must continue drill until all 4 shots are made.
- Foul Shooting: 3 sets of 5 free throws, where by each set is under additional conditions of fatigue.

- Physical & Mental: In excellent top physical condition. Must improve his mental toughness and not show negative emotion on the floor. When focused,is one of the tope avaliable point guards on the market.
- Ball Skills: Excellent ball skills in the open floor and in closely guarded situations. Very good court vision and court judgment. Passes to his teammates strengths. Very effective in an uptempo atmosphere.
- Offense: He is a very skilled offensive player. Showed good ability to get to the basket and finish in traffic. Also showed very good shooting ability and range out to three point line. Excellent body control. Terrific transition player and excellent at creating shots for himself and his teammates.
- Rebounding: Average rebounder for his size and position.
- Defense: Excellent defender. Has ability to apply pressure for the full 94ft. Excellent defensive footspeed and footwork. Very good weakside defense and defense away from the ball. Puts effective pressure on the ball and when he wants to, can lock down his man.
- Game Knowledge: Very good floor leadership skills. Reads the game well. Always ready to score or create open shots for his teammates. Showed great poise and patience.
- Strengths: He is a very good defender and is very comfortable running the team. Very good with pick and rolls. Shot consistency. Shooting range. Quickness of release. Body control and ability to finish around the basket.
- Opportunities for Improvement: Has to be more consistent and improve his shooting. Has definite ability to hit outside shots, but can be inconsistent. Needs to work on mental focus and not getting down on his teammates.
- Overall Comments: Top 3 player in the camp. He can play at a mid to high pro level overseas. Excellent athletic ability, which allows him to get to the rim and finish in traffic. He also did a great job on the defensive end of the floor. When he is focused, is a great teammate and floor leader. When not focused, his game and his teammates' games are affected.
